Too cold to train

Sunday

I really had no desire to leave the house. Frankly, nobody could offer me any reason to grace their presence and all workouts I could contemplate bored me. I put my computrainer together and then decided I would go do a tabata run set on the treadmill combined with intense hot tub action. As I drove to the club, I changed my mind, turned around, and set up the computrainer outside. Spun for about 45 minutes. Felt very strong working at my old intervals VT1-280 watts and VT2-350 watts. I'm sure those have changed having not ridden in a year. I did 3x5 mins at VT1 and then 1 min at VT2 just to see if it was hard. It actually felt so easy that I was worried the thing wasn't working. Definitely thinking about getting back into some racing next year. I should have followed with a run, but again the weather was nasty and I had to remind myself that I'm not doing anything I find unpleasant.

I saw 21 that night. It was mildly entertaining, but I have to say, the main character is a pretty big wimp the way he let people walk all over him (including Laurence Fishburne, who I would have buried in the Las Vegas desert along with whoever owned that hotel. And if I ever let someone as mousy as Kevin Spacey get the better of me I will just choke myself out--he should just go back to playing a serial killer). The main character did hook up with the girl in the movie, of course, but apparently she had to take a bunch of shots of alcohol before doing their "love" scene if you can even call it that. All they did was stand in front of a window overlooking Vegas and play cheesy movie music. I think the guy touches her face and perhaps they kiss and then it's done. I dunno, maybe I would have to take a few shots to let little creepy dude from MIT touch me too.

And I'm not sure why they need people from MIT to count cards. Seemed to me like they needed less emotional people.

After rereading my post I have decided I am weak.
